The EPEEC minicluster is formed by four Gigabyte R281-3C2 servers that are used to test emerging technologies in the project's programming environment, such as AMD GPUs, FPGAs, and byte-addressable persistent memory.

  • 64 GB DDR4 @ 2666Mbps
  • Interconnection networks:
    • InfiniBand FDR 40/56GbE
    • 1Gb Ethernet
  • Operating System: CentOS 8

 

Heterogeneous computing devices in some of the nodes:

  • 2 nodes with 256GB OptaneDC NVMEM (2x 128Gb DIMMs)
  • 2 nodes with AMD Radeon Instinct MI25 GPU
  • 1 node with Intel PAC Arria 10 GX FPGA
